In November it turns autumnal in Mallorca. No month brings more rain and more rain days at the station. Temperatures stay mild all the same, and the sea is still warmer than in May.

On average over the years 2011 to 2025, the Palma de Mallorca CMT station reaches 20.3 °C by day and 13.3 °C at night in November. On 8.1 days at least 1 mm of rain falls, adding up to 87.3 mm in the month.

Off the Bay of Palma the sea averages 20.0 °C in November. In October it is 23.5 °C, in December 17.0 °C. The hardy still swim. For most people the swimming season is over.

The value comes from the NOAA OISST satellite analysis for open water off the bay, averaged over 2011 to 2025. In shallow coves and right at the beach the water can be warmer or colder.

4What to pack for Mallorca in November

In November you need clothing for autumn weather: long trousers, jumper, a rainproof jacket and sturdy, waterproof shoes. For sunny midday hours a T-shirt is often enough. An umbrella is practical in Palma.

5Which activities suit the weather in November

• Beach: More for walks. A short swim is still possible on warm days.
• Boat trip: Heavily dependent on the weather. Check in advance whether your provider runs trips in November.
• Hiking: Lovely on dry days. Paths are slippery after rain.
• Caves: Especially useful this month.
• City: Palma works in the rain too, with museums, cafés and market halls.
